Find models that allow you to choose between several modes, utilize their charging docks to automatically empty, and clean up stairs.A lot of the top models integrate with your smartphone. Check for an application that lets you save maps, create schedules and select cleaning options.1. Eufy Omni S1 ProEufy's gunmetal-and-gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuum and mop combos on the market. It uses lidar to navigate and create maps of floors and rooms (even multiple levels) and is compatible with the free Eufy Clean application that lets you set up schedules and modify the S1's behaviour. When I tested the S1, it was quick to locate our downstairs, which is home to Linoleum flooring in the kitchen/dining room and bathrooms, as well as carpeting with a medium-pile and an area rug. It easily drove close to walls without crashing into them and even managed to drive across raised room thresholds with no issue, though it occasionally had trouble navigating down the stairs in one pass. The S1 performed admirably in cleaning hard floors. Its mop moved smoothly on its flat side and lifted itself when it reached carpets or rugs. Before each mopping session, the docking station of the S1 automatically emptys its trash bin and fills up its water tank with clean ozonated filtered water. The dock also provides a deep-cleaning solution to the water. The S1 water tank can hold enough for 12 mopping sessions, however it will differ depending on the frequency you use the mop.The S1 requires regular maintenance, just like all 2-in-1 robots. It is necessary to regularly wash out the dirty tank to avoid it becoming clogged. Also, you'll need to clean your sensor and swivel wheel frequently to avoid them becoming blocked by dirt or dust. But, overall, the S1 is easy to maintain, especially compared to other models which require more effort to maintain.2. The mops are also cleaned and dried at the base station, as required. This robot combo is easy to setup and use, with a clear interface that guides you through the procedure. It also comes with a hand vacuum that can be utilized to clean those difficult to reach areas that the robot can't reach. There are two water tanks which are automatically emptied or filled. It comes with a range of useful settings that allow you to fine tune your cleaning preferences. The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does a good job at vacuuming, with strong suction that effortlessly picks up most debris and even the smaller bits of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are pretty solid as well, though it can sometimes get caught up on the tiny carpets or area mats that I have in my home (which is something you can mitigate by creating a virtual border in the app). The mopping capabilities are quite impressive, and comes with a pair of spinning mop pads that actually lift and scrub the floors instead of simply dragging the pad over it. The mops can be cleaned with heated water, and dried in the base station whenever required. The mops can also be filled at the top of the station if required.3. Dreame X40 UltraDreame launched the luxurious X30 Ultra earlier this year and their new top-of-the-line robot mop and vacuum has more impressive features. It has outstanding cleaning performance and hands-off maintenance which makes it a strong contender on our top robot vacuum and mop list. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a long side brush guarantee an efficient, customized clean. The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, removing large and fine particles from both hard floors and carpets. It cleaned the dirtiest areas of our tests well while avoiding pet hairs and other messes. The sweeping power is enhanced by an additional side brush that automatically extends to reach hard-to-reach corners, and an extendable mop pad that can be placed alongside baseboards. Its navigation system is nimble it can navigate through tiny spaces and negotiating stairs without skipping a step. It is able to move from one room to another without having to change direction. This is useful for homes with a lot of rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is not as advanced than some competitors, however, and tends to leave a wide space around obstacles, which could result in missed spots. The interface of the app is easy to use and well-organized. It should be simple to use for novice and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and control cleanings. You can also adjust suction power, mop setting, and look up 3-D and 2-D maps. It can be controlled via the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can even tap into the X40 Ultra's camera remotely, for live video surveillance. Roomba Q5 proA robot vacuum does an excellent job of removing dirt and debris but it's not always able to get every last particle of dust. robotic hoovers robotvacuummops 's why it's important to make use of your regular vacuum once a week, especially to remove dust from corners, on shelves and in the corners of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that both vacuums and mop, is designed to do just that. It's simple to connect to your home Wi-Fi network and is compatible with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more useful addition to your routine of cleaning. The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the more expensive S-series models from the company, such as the flagship Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It is equipped with a similar LIDAR mapping sensor, but it saves cost by eliminating mopping and using a cheaper plastic body.Despite losing the ability to wipe your floors, the Q5 still has the best mopping and vacuum performance we've seen from a robot in this price range. It has a suction power of 5500Pa and an automatic-empty system, so you don't have to empty the bin manually each time. It comes with a smart app which allows you to schedule cleaning and set the floor type. It also comes with an automatic water tank filling system and washing system for hands-free operation. Its mops are also awe-inspiring with 2700Pa of power that can tackle dirt, dust and pet hair on hard floors and carpets. The Q5 was one of the few robots that we tested that did not have issues with high-pile rugs and carpets. However, it did not handle kitty litter or cable tangles. This isn't surprising, since it does NOT have AI-powered obstacle-avoidance features.5. K10 PlusK10 Plus is the quietest robovac we have ever tested.
